LOOK | Boulevard Celebrates Bilingual Culture With Their F/W 17 Lookbook
This Montreal based brand just got on our radar.
Boulevard came to fruition based off the popular Main street where cultures mix, clash and mold together to inspire tons of creative ideas such as this brand that wants to celebrate the past, present and future of two languages: french and english.
The debut collection for F/W 2016-2017, designed by Alexis Filion offers up a few looks in collaboration with “La Ruche Blanche” entitled Bilingual Culture.
At a time where bilingualism tends to be celebrated (and still somewhat controversial), the idea behind it is to break the barriers and really immerse people into the idea and spirit of celebrating the fact that Montrealers can simply meld both worlds so easily.
Mostly fabricated in North America, printed in Quebec and designed in Montreal, this local brand holds 5 items including two T’s, a long sleeve and two crewnecks to get your hands on. Unisexe, and gender-less, the styles are adaptable for anyone who wants to go out in style.
