Coat Game MVPs: NYFW Street Style by Walking Canucks

*End of coat season appreciation post*

Daniel Kim, aka Walking Canucks, was sick like a dog on day 4 of New York Fashion Week, which also happened to be his birthday. He stood outside Gypsy Sport with a plastic black covering his camera and his teeth clattered as he described how many layers of clothing he managed to fit on today.

Kim is a street style hustler, the name we give the photographers who stand outside for hours a day, waiting and then furiously snapping at the best looks that they can find. Fashion weeks turn into fashion months, and day after day photographers show up in herds, braving the cold. The challenge of this kind of photography is not only to find a stylish outfit, but to pair it with a composition that works with the clothes and try and capture as authentic a moment as you possibly can.

See our favourite coats at NYFW, they'll make you feel warm and fuzzy inside!
