COVERGIRL Announces Upcoming Star Wars Makeup Line

As a promotion for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Covergirl and its sister brand Max Factor, have announced the launch of a matching makeup line. Fans can choose to paint for the light side or the dark side. They can also try a little bit of both, even though that can get a little complicated. The September issue of Vogue magazine shows a the fierce makeup potential with Covergirl’s take on a stormtrooper and a droid.

The limited edition cosmetic line was designed by Covergirl’s global creative design director and famous makeup artist Pat McGrath. You should check out her Instagram account, because her looks are phenomenal. The Covergirl Star Wars line includes six lipsticks, three nailpolishes, and ten mascaras, just begging for you to get as creative as possible.

Considering how the Star Wars universe is a makeup artist’s dream come true, making a cosmetic line was a genius idea. Here are some Star Wars looks that you can use for inspiration:

Queen Amidala

Queen Apailana

Darth Maul

That last one is more for a “night” look.

The cosmetic line describing itself as #beautyforce will be released on September 4th. The two weeks leading up to the release will give you time to ask yourself one important question: Which side are you on?
