On Our Radar

Latre Art + Style is one of those gems you walk by and take a step back to just walk in because your curiosity has been picked on. If you want unique conversational pieces, this place is where you’ll get your fingers on it.

Brian Vu founded and designed Latre (pronounced Later) with an untraditional perspective of seeing clothing and garments as art pieces.

Every piece is meticulously chosen for its natural qualities. Actually, you’ll definitely get the feeling of organic-ness when walking in, as the store gives off four components that are markedly defined: Indigo, Military, Native and African.

From locally-sourced Native jewelry, African mud cloths and reworked Indigo vintage military pieces, Brian likes to deconstruct garments into its basic shape and infuse some of these 4 elements to create a beautifully distinct, timeless and genderless piece.

Latre Art + Style is in the artistic heart of Toronto located in the Junction. For more information visit their website: LatreArtandStyle.com
