This Pastel Roots Trend Will Become the New Holy Grail for Hair
Ohh Fashion, how you never cease to surprise us.. You are a creative and ridiculous muse that plagues mortals and gods alike. This time, you are taunting the world of hair, in the form of an innovative way to cover and play with roots, YEP, ROOTS!
This (pop) color roots trend first appeared in Maxime Simoens' spring 2015 Show, where the models' roots were covered in pastel pop colors contrasting to their hair color.
Laurent Philippon, Bumble and bumble's global artistic director, created this look using non-permanent MAC Pigments (as shown below).
The models wore different kinds of pigmented pop colors. The results are as beautiful as they are eclectic, and DEFINITELY unique; plus, they provide a fun coverage for roots until next time you paint them closer to your shade. As they said in the Campaign, #colorfulisthenewblack, so grab those brushes and that lilac, pink & blue powder paint and let your hair start living la vida loca!
