French Canadian singer AIDA kickstarts the summer with her new tune and 80s inspired visuals.

The funk-style tune, produced by Fresco Klüb, gave AIDA the urge to look up to her mom's personal stories growing up in the 80s era and offer up a nostalgic yet refreshing take in this day and age. "Let's Ride" is "a party in musical form" song gets elevated with its visual treatment, and by the time you hit the chorus for the second time, you'll find yourself singing along to the catchy melodies all the way till the end.

Shot and directed by our homie Xavier Cantin-Lemieux, the setup becomes quite nostalgic as he nails the old-school 80s style VHS look and grid-style visuals with some neon beach-style vibes, a small cameo by Montreal stud Warth Stevenson and offers up a twist by the end with AIDA becoming the Femme Fatale of the storyline.

"We decided to play with the concept by putting Aida in the shoes of a hired killer in a fictionalized Miami, which contrasts with what could have been a simple summer anthem." - Xavier Cantin-Lemieux
