Goldlink & Kojey Radical Release 3 Stunning Short Videos For His Debut Album
GoldLink is starting off 2016 with a bang. His debut album, And After That We Didn’t Talk is definitely something you shouldn't sleep on. In collaboration with directing duo Rubberband, GoldLink decided to release three visual narratives as part of the concept of his album in order to elevate the musicality and bring the audience through a whole entire experience.
GoldLink explains, “Every man has or will go through these three different relationships. These visuals embody the core of my album, ‘And After That, We Didn’t Talk.’ This is me reflecting on what I guess I learned too late."
The visual series is narrated by UK based artist/poet Kojey Radical who supplies an expressive narration throughout the three spots, which include illustrations by Melody Hansen. You will definitely want to immerse yourself in this.
Kojey adds, “With this project we really wanted to explore aspects Male and Female interaction using colour as catalyst both visually, audibly and emotionally. Each video seems to resemble a fleeting moment, intensifying the dialogue with every listen. It reflects just how much the little things we say can become so much more potent the more the moments replay in your mind.”
