If you aren't already, you should start getting familiar with Toronto Music Producer, DJ, & Remixer Nightizm. We caught him on the rise and we couldn't be more excited to finally release the highly anticipated mix he put together exclusively for us. This 30 minute mix is everything we could ask for. It might seem short and sweet at first, but trust us when we say you will want to replay it all day every day until you get sick and tired of hearing it. This mix is extremely easy to listen to, featuring 2 of his own remixes and other tracks that fit seamlessly together inviting you to his world inspired by late night production sessions and current trap-style music.

The 16th edition of the IX Podcast is now available via iTunesSoundcloud and Mixcloud. Tracklist after the jump!

We sat down with Nightizm at the end of 2014 for an IXclusive interview and photoshoot at a quaint studio in the heart of Liberty Village:

IX: Care to introduce yourself?

Nightizm: My name is Nightizm.

IX: I feel like there’s an authenticity to your darkness, where does your name originate?

Nightizm: It originates from the night. For a year straight, I would stay up until 6-7 am producing. In that state, I found my sound.

IX: How would you describe your sound?

NightizmMy Nightizm sound is very dark and heavy in the bass, very trap influenced. I like to make certain themes and vibes like my Renaissance E.P. in which I used choir type vocals. On the flip-side, I have my remixes that are very light and more pop-friendly. I try to cover both bases. Dark and light, underground and mainstream.
