Some of you might not recognize Lary Kidd as a solo artist until now.

He is best known for his involvement in the Loud Lary Ajust project, and has now resurfaced with his solo release titled "Blue Pills Red Pills," a franglais track with catchy melodic hooks and low end rythms. This would be his first solo record released by Coyote Records, and we can't get enough.

The song is about the downside of the hip hop culture and of the wrong that it has done to Montreal's youth.

His lyrical content is dense, as he explores the unhealthy influence rap music has on the youth: its obsession with money and glory, and the broader culture of crime it tends to glorify. Lary Kidd also criticizes the economic inequalities from a fashion point of view and questions the worth of the sacrifices needed to achieve glory and success.
