MNEK Geared to be Your Next Favourite Vocalist with "The Rhythm"
We first featured British vocalist, MNEK, when he did a beautifully soothing live rendition of Coldplay's "Magic". Last time we made sure to emphasize the fact that this guy has one of the strongest voices in the industry. His new track, "The Rhythm", stands behind that. This time, we're here to stress the creative talent and the sensational mind that this 19 year-old crooner possesses. His resume alone speaks volumes. Among the plethora of artists he's written for, he's got writing credits for Gorgon City, Kylie Minogue, Rudimental. Some songs include: "Need You 100%" (Duke Dumont), "Hell Could Freeze" (Rudimental), "Gecko (Overdrive)" (Oliver Heldens). These songs are on top of what he's written for himself.
"If I let the rhythm get to me, then I don't know what I'll be
think I might just lose my mind
if I let the the rhythm get to me, will take all of me
will lose track of space and time."
With "The Rhythm", you get an awesome play back-and-forth between deep house bass and MNEK's strong vocals. The lyrics hit home with any modern-day fan of ravers, EDM music fans, or concert-goers, in general. If you're not instantly drawn to the song by it's opening bars, give it a couple bars and the beat will reel you in. It's catchy and you won't be able to help yourself to moving along.
