Vancouver-Based Collective Crystals Just Drops Their Debut Compilation

On Our Radar

Crystals is a new Vancouver-based collective founded by DJ/producer So Sus.

Members of the group represent many corners of the world united by a singular desire to showcase interesting, forward thinking music that blurs the confines of genre. Crystals' debut release is a compilation filled with tracks ranging from 808-infused trap to softer eclectic ballads, each showcasing a unique facet of the crew.

From So Sus"Crank"; a wonky hybrid trap club track to Shwirl’s gentle and pensive "Clinical Depression", all the tracks are tied together by a genuine desire to push sonic boundaries by a global community of producers that create art with integrity. In their efforts to be an inclusive community, Crystals has an open door submission mantra and freely encourages anyone to submit a track. With future quarterly compilations and upcoming Vancouver events in the works, Crystals is one to keep your ears open for.
