MEMORY presents is a traveling short film series curated by MEMORY. With the goals of brining exciting, emerging filmmakers to new audiences. The 90-minute program was traveling across major cities in North America, and has now added two new shorts to its rosters.

Last fall, we previewed some of these shorts through 'gif-moments' right before they screened at Montreal's PHI CentreThis new program consists mostly of shorts that were part of the original program like Robert Eggers’ BROTHERS, Patrick Brice’s short HANG LOOSE and Pippa Bianco’s short SHARE.

We asked them to send over two more gif moments to commemorate the new additions to the listing, and they delivered.

LEWIS

LEWIS is a beautiful short film by Toronto based filmmaker Fantavious Fritz which played the Vancouver Film Festival, Slamdance.

TALE OF HILLBELLY

TALE OF HILLBELLY which was created by the filmmaking collective of Encyclopedia Pictura who are an incredibly talented group of artists making some of the most imaginative kind of stuff out there for artists like Kanye West, Bjork, Animal Collective to name a few.

The team behind MEMORY took the time to interview some of the filmmakers to get a better insight on their process, inspiration, and you can watch it right here:

MEMORY has been picked by Vimeo's Staff Picks this week, which proves how much of a sick project this is, and if you are even somewhat interested in the world of cinema, this is totally for you.
