This Montreal Illustrator Creates Pop Art With A Sinister Twist

Elisia Lee is one of our favourite discoveries of the moment. The 26 year-old Montreal is a graphic designer/illustrator who's got an eye for pop art with a touch of sinister, and we fucking dig that.

She's worked in the fashion industry for quite some time and recently switched over to freelance to elevate her brand. Whether it is for marketing, exhibitions, patches, clothes, or even postcards and digital art, she can make it happen. She's truly got a talent for giving "cute" things a horro-twist, which is really what inspires her in the first place. You can peep some of her amazing work over at her portfolio website

My favourite form of art is definitely illustration, i love drawing things that look bright & bubbly but are actually really dark and twisted.

Using popular puns and quotes to create art that you probably already shared on Tumblr or other social media channels.  She recently launched a side-project called nothing, where she creates patches and embroidered items that are up for sale on her big cartel website. Scroll through some of the items below and grab yourself one after the jump.

Feast your eyes and ears on Danielle Duval, the Montreal-born/Toronto-based, indie rocker. She recently released the visuals for “Whenever You Want It” – the lead single and video off my sophomore album, Lose It, which dropped on January 26th. It’s a song about no fear; being open, ready, and up...
Halifax has a musical gem, and it's Rich Aucoin . The dance wunderkind, just recently dropped a new tune titled "The Middle" and we can't get enough. The tune was originally recorded and then has to be re-created from memory after pieces were lost from when Rich Aucoin got his computer stolen from...
Sit back, and indulge. MM Crone is a Montreal duo comprised of Philippe Petit and Margaux Tabary . They make gritty indie electro music with a twist. You'll probably do a double-take at first, but don't stop, let the unusual vocal delivery seep into your ears as you'll get the vibe the more your...
