Anything You Can Do, We Can Do Bleeding: Photos from NYC's Women's March
Yesterday's Women's March in New York City reportedly drew a crowd of roughly 120,000 people, spanning 20 blocks and conveniently passing by several of Trump's buildings. I was there, and it was great. The day started off with some sideline debates between old white men in Make America Great Again caps and some protestors, my favorites being a woman who repeatedly screamed "You're a fucking asshole" to one until he stopped talking, and a woman who created the chant "Let's Ignore The Ass-hole!" in order to drown another holding a "Trump 2020" sign. The only sad part of the day was when I spotted a small group of women standing under one "Women For Trump" sign. I'm praying for you, ladies.
By far the best part of the day was the signs. Best in show goes to "Save DACA, you piece of caca" and "This episode of Black Mirror is terrible." Runner-ups include "Anything you can do, I can do bleeding," "Shut up Trump, fix me a sandwich," and "We are the daughters of the witches you didn't burn". Shoutout to the woman dressed as a fist who was shouting "Talk to the hand Trump!" and flipping everyone the bird.
