PREMIERE | AA Wallace Surprises Us With His "Shake It Out" Video

From his days growing up in the small fishing village of Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, AA Wallace has always been somewhat of an outlier. He's been on our radar for quite some time now, and we're more than excited to be premiering his latest music video for "Shake It Out" - a fun track filled with the right grooves to get you going.

Having spent most of his life on the fringes of the Canadian scene, you get a glimpse of his experiences through his music, as he reports from the sidelines – sometimes exploratory and other times warm and familiar, his music is definitely catchy, but in a good way. His latest track is a little bit dancy, a little bit indie rock, a little bit weirdo pop, and he's got a music video filled with surprises to show for it.

“The video for "Shake It Out," is about the perception of gender in language.

The song itself contains no gender specific language.

The video plays on that idea.” - AA Wallace

Taken from the album In Alpha Zones to be released March 11th by Culvert Music.
